Summary:
After having spent many years in the computer service field, I decided to move into a field I have always wanted to be a part of: software development. What I have seen during my time of fixing software & hardware problems is that there is a real need for vertical market software that works, works well and does not tie a company to a particular platform.
I believe the current and emerging state of Web technologies can be used to fill that void and the power and flexibility of Drupal can be used as a solid and stable base on which to construct many of those applications.

Developed a Drupal-based intranet website (http://www.caringnurses.net/) utilizing the Book module for internal documentation, several modules for e-mail and site-based communications, CCK and Views for maintaining and displaying employee information and custom programming to consolidate where and how data is stored and maintained.

Submits bug reports and patches to various contributed modules. Helps with support requests in the Drupal forums, issue queues, e-mail lists and IRC. Created several websites based on Drupal, with varying degrees of theme and module customization, including my church's website (http://www.gracereformedchurchlv.org/) and my sons' Boy Scout troop's website (http://www.troop256.com/).

Worked with & on the project, first as a Grimoire Guru, which is a software package maintainer (which included installing & testing open source software and writing bash-based scripts that conformed to a defined system), then as the Tome Team Lead, who is in charge of managing the project's website(s) & documentation.
