William Harvey Flatt arrived today, Thursday, December 29th at 4 minutes after midnight. He weighed 8 lbs 1 oz, and measured 20.5 inches long - our smallest baby, yet! Our homebirth was attended by my husband - Jason, my partner - Maggie, and my mom - Kathy.
Thank you so much for your prayers, we are filled with a peace and joy that we were (I was) not expecting. William is latching a bit better today, but we are still watching his eating, blood sugars, and circulation. I am terrific except for a tooth infection, but now I feel better about scheduling an appointment with our dentist. My other sons are passing around two infections, one swollen tonsils thing, and one vomiting thing. (Oye!) If it's not one thing, it's his brother. = )
